Each year the nursing department hosts their student social known as Park Day. This event is designed to allow students the opportunity to socialize, mingle and network with other individuals going through their same programs and facing many of the same challenges. The day also offers a much needed break from the rigors of student life and includes games, prizes, team building exercises and motivational speeches. At the end of the event the students also participate in community service projects giving back to the great city of El Paso.
